“The Week of Czech and Slovak Games is becoming an important event not only for players, but also for small and medium-sized studios that are trying to gain popularity on the global market. We are proud to host this event and support our talented developers.” said Pavel Barak, Chairman of the Association of Czech Game Developers and Member of the Board of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Czech Republic.

Despite the pandemic and all the negativity, the Czech gaming industry is still growing and becoming an important industry. However, it is difficult for small and medium-sized studios to bring their games to the global market and attract the attention of foreign players. “We are glad to see how interest in our event increases every year. With 115 studios taking part this year, over 270 games in total, this is a fantastic number and shows just how rich and diverse our gaming scene is.” added Pavel Barak.

All week you will find not only discounts on games, but also the opportunity to learn more about creating games from the authors themselves. A list of participating titles and other information can be found on the event’s official website.

The Games Week is organized by the Association of Czech Game Developers (GDACZ) and the Slovak Gaming Association (SGDA) with the help of partners Arkance Systems, Nine Rocks Games, the production of the Indian program and the game archive Visiongame.cz.
