Judging by WB Games’ latest earnings report, things aren’t all that bad. The new Mortal Kombat has apparently already sold over 3 million units and, at least based on the data presented, it looks like the total could rise significantly. Hogwarts Legacy was a truly significant success, where, according to the information provided, players have already played more than 700 million hours.

However, those who expected AAA games to be the studio’s priority may be slightly disappointed. The company wants to focus on transforming its biggest series into a live service format or even a free-to-play concept with a focus on high levels of monetization. He sees unprecedented potential here in terms of financial resources. So because of this, we’ll probably have to wait for games like Batman: Arkham, and it’s questionable whether we’ll get them at all.
