At the beginning of October, we informed you about problems with the upcoming multiplayer game in The Last of Us series. The team responsible for developing the game at the Naughty Dog studio has already left several developers some time ago, led by the head of the monetization department and designer Anders Howard. According to unconfirmed information, the project currently has undergo more significant changes and rethinking its entire concept. Kotaku magazine even recently reported that development has been put on hold.
Vineet Agarwal, a game director himself, is now on his own. Twitter showed that continues work on The Last of Us multiplayer. However, instead of providing more details about the current state of the game, he boasted about his achievements in the recently released Super Mario Bros. game. Be surprised. So for now, we have no choice but to wait to see what ultimately comes out of this rather troubled project for Naughty Dog.
