The long-awaited announcement was made today at BlizzCon. World of Warcraft Cataclysm Classic. Even if the Cataclysm expansion wasn’t as impressive as Wrath of the Lich King and Burning Crusade, it will still be there.
The good news is that the developers at Blizzard have taken the feedback from WoW: Classic on board and are working on the classic version of Cataclysm accordingly. Again, this will not be just a port of the original version of the expansion, released in 2010. This means, among other things, faster gameplay, improved leveling, expanded guild features, new races, 10 dungeons and five raids.
We’ll find out more later. World of Warcraft Cataclsylm Classic will be released in the first half of next year. Until then, players should enjoy World of Warcraft Classic: Season of Discoverywill start on November 30 this year, and the maximum level will be 25. It will also include a new raid, “Blackfathom Abyss,” for 10 players with new rewards and mechanics.
