Czech Viet Cong legend gets new documentary

The first part, which is appreciated to this day, was followed two years later by a sequel, which, however, did not receive such a warm reception. The rise and fall of the famous Czech video game brand and the Pterodon studio itself are depicted in a new documentary. It was created on the basis of the VisionGame website, dedicated primarily to the history and modernity of the Czech gaming industry.

The main creator of the documentary, Michael Petr, said that the essence of the documentary consists of several interviews with then-members of the Pterodon studio.. In particular, Jarek Kolář, Pavel Širuczek, Michal Marianek, Petr Mores, Petr Benyszek, Filip Oschadal, Michal Blazek, Tomasz Szlapota, Lionel Kregut and Jiri Matyskiewicz are interviewed in the documentary. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, filming extended over several years. However, the result is an almost two-hour documentary that will allow you to take a closer look at the backstory of the creation of one of the most famous Czech series and the fate of the aforementioned Pterodon Software studio.
