Indiana was invited to play a preview version of the upcoming FPS/adventure action game. Avatar: Pandora’s Frontiers. We were able to review nearly two hours of content and bring you our footage, including first impressions of the entire game. Will it be a hit before the end of the year, or will Ubisoft be in for a cold shower… the problem is that we don’t know.
⚠️ Ubisoft limited the preview version to resolution 1080p. We don’t know what the game settings were or what hardware was used. We played the PC version, we assume that the detail is average. It is possible that FSR or DLSS was active, but this cannot be confirmed. So in 4K and on a more powerful package the game could look better, and it is likely that Ubisoft is intentionally showing medium detail now rather than high. This won’t be the first time. Please take this as additional information to the video only – how you rate it is up to you.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will be released on December 7, 2023 for PC (Ubisoft Connect), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
