Thank you Star field recorded Xbox the best September in the last 9 years in the United States of America. Bethesda’s space adventure RPG was the month’s best-selling game in the US and the seventh best-selling game of the year.
Starfield’s success does not include Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass. But a more expensive edition with early access is being considered. Starfield was outsold only by this year’s biggest hits, led by Hogwarts Legacy, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Madden NFL 24, Diablo 4, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
Despite its subscription status, Starfield outsold Mortal Kombat 1, NBA 2K24 and EA Sports FC 24 in the US in September. Given this success, analysts expect Microsoft will follow the path of exclusives for other major games.including The Elder Scrolls 6 and Fallout 5 from Bethesda Game Studios.
Starfield’s primary platform is PC, and Mortal Kombat 1 sold best on PlayStation, followed by an even split between Xbox and PC.
