Valve warns players against using AMD feature in Counter-Strike 2

Counter-Strike 2 got off to a rocky start, but that doesn’t mean the game lacks focus. This is definitely not the case. Now she was awakened by Valve’s announcement. It warns players against using AMD features. And not only warns. Some of them have already been banned by VAC for using Anti-Lag+, which reduces input lag. The company commented on this step as follows: “If you are an AMD user and play CS2, DO NOT ENABLE ANTI-LAG/+; any tampering with the CS code will result in a VAC ban.

According to Valve, the ban should be lifted as soon as an update from AMD appears. It seems that Anti-Lag+ has a negative impact on the game code. The fact that Nvidia Reflex doesn’t have these issues in Counter-Strike 2 is certainly interesting. When you will be able to use Anti-Lag+ on a PC without the possibility of a ban is still a question.
