Last October, the horror adventure Scorn was released on PC and Xbox Series X/S, which, thanks to instant added to Game Pass received despite a cooler reception from a wider group of players. Now, after Microsoft’s year-long console exclusivity ended, the game has made its way to the PlayStation 5.
Developers from the Ebb Software studio reminded us of this news with the launch trailer attached above. The name mainly benefits from beautiful visual effects, a dense atmosphere and an interesting world inspired by the work of H.R. Giger, the author of “Alien.” You can find more information about the game in our review, where Scorn received a score of 6/10 and the following verdict:
“Playing Scorn is almost an artistic experience. Whether you’re walking down a dark corridor surrounded by sticky walls, or perhaps heading down a dusty path towards a huge temple. All these sounds and the slowly creeping depressive theme of the entire game create unsettling feelings, but at too many points they give way to the frustration associated with imprecise combat and especially saves. But for its originality, Scorn is definitely worth a try.”
