In June of this year, the Trepang2 event was released on computers, the authors of which from the Trepang studio do not hide that during the development of the game very inspired by the FEAR series. The game was recently released in full version also on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles, where it is available in both digital and boxed versions.
The title focuses on fast-paced gameplay using bullet command. On the contrary, it is one of the weak points. shorter playing time, which is about five hours. You can see the newly released launch trailer above in the preview. In our review of the PC version, Trepang2 received a score of 7/10 and the following verdict:
“A purebred, uncomplicated shooter of the classic version, which will delight you with simple gameplay, decent audiovisual processing and effective battles using the popular bullet time. A higher rating is hampered mainly by the untapped potential of the shootout itself, relatively meager content and a feeling of some sterility and incompleteness. Although it is without crossing the shadow of its spiritual predecessor, it can keep fans of the genre entertained for about five hours and offer an interesting challenge on higher difficulty levels.”
