Console players will later become city planners. Paradox and Colossal Order are unexpectedly delayed Cities: Horizons 2 in versions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The PC version (including PC Game Pass) will still be released on 10/24/2023, but the game will appear on consoles later.
The developers estimate that they will be able to release Cities: Skylines 2 on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S next spring. They justify the delay by saying they need more time to achieve the creative goals they have for the consoles. They want to provide players with the best possible experience and will work to ensure quality and performance across all platforms.
If you pre-ordered the console version of Cities: Skylines 2 digitally, you will receive an automatic refund. To obtain a refund for a physical edition, you must contact the retailer.
It remains true that when Cities: Skylines 2 releases on Xbox Series X/S, it will be available on Xbox Game Pass.
