Timberborn is a strategy game in which you lead a colony of beavers who are faced with a difficult task. You have to survive in an ever-changing environment with dynamically moving water and various traps. The struggle for life here is difficult for many reasons, but this does not scare away players, but, on the contrary, attracts them. Over the past two years, the game has managed to sell more than 1 million copies, which is undoubtedly a success for an independent project in this category, because wheat is not so popular among indie building strategies.
Another factor that could be a limiting factor, besides the higher difficulty, is undoubtedly the fact that Timberborn is still in early access after two years, and according to the developers, it will continue for as long as their game requires. The exact release date is currently unknown.
