Lies of P transcends the games it takes inspiration from, easily making it one of the best games of the year.

It feels like a spiritual successor to Bloodborne, and if they were advertising it as a new game from FromSoftware, it probably wouldn’t bother anyone. If you’re a fan of Soulsborne and want to spice up your gaming journey, you should try Lies of P.

Even though the game feels a little too derivative at times, we had fun playing Lies of P. It’s so well made and all the changes are so good (even if they’re minor) that we have to recommend it.

Lies of P doesn’t stray too far from its soulful inspiration, but still does its job very well.

I honestly had a lot of fun playing it, and I can say that Lies of P has the potential to be one of those games that immediately comes to mind when you think of Soulslike.

Lies of P makes it clear that developer Neowiz has a deep understanding and understanding of FromSoftware’s games that goes beyond superficial copying.

Lies of P is quite enjoyable and the action is decent, but it lacks the polish and dynamism of competing games. Its atmosphere may be exciting, but it’s a patchwork of previously seen themes and aesthetics that never quite impresses. Unfortunately, the entire time I was playing, I couldn’t stop thinking about why this game was made in the first place.
