Although the original development team has partially disbanded and there is no telling what will happen next, 2019’s unique RPG Disco Elysium was a huge hit that the gaming world won’t easily forget. At the same time, however, the title is extremely chatty and the English is quite demanding, so not everyone has succeeded with it yet. However, last year we learned that the Game Translations team had begun work on localization. In April we got the first preview, and in May we got an interview with the head of the entire team, Paras. Just today we received great news that the translation of the entire version of The Final Cut has been completed.
In the official announcement, Paras thanked the entire team, namely translators Drakefran, DieFakSlow, Ziriath, Pepe, dwa22 and many others, technicians Palko and Flu, as well as translator Luc2as for their work with textures. “It was hundreds of hours of work for all of us, which I hope is worth it in your eyes. The total amount is around 3,500 NS of text,” says Paras.
You can download the Czech language from the Game Translations website. Of course, it is quite possible that there is an error in such a huge amount of text, so Paras asks players in this case to report the error and attach a description with a screenshot.
