Gotham Knights is apparently coming to Nintendo Switch

Last year’s Gotham Knights from WB Games Monetréal certainly didn’t release in perfect technical condition. On PC, the game suffered from extreme CPU demands that were barely used, and on consoles the frame rate was capped at 30 frames per second, and even this goal was not achieved in all scenes. But it must be said that since then the game has received several patches that gradually corrected the problems. On consoles the game finally offers at least a stable 30 FPS, and on PC it now runs much better. But as soon as the developers decided to optimize on existing platforms, there was already talk about conversion, namely for the Nintendo Switch.

Gotham Knights for Nintendo’s console has been rated by the American ratings board ESRB (as reported by VGC magazine, for example), which could mean the release is pretty close. Of course, the port makes sense, since the Arkham trilogy is coming to Switch in a month, so it will be an addition to the collection. However, creating a conversion for a platform that is now very outdated in terms of hardware will certainly not be easy. Of course, it is possible that WB Games will prefer to use the cloud version.

Either way, it’s another hint that another Nintendo Direct could be coming soon, perhaps even this week.
