This year, September, October and November are months filled with interesting games. Due to the high competition, the creators have recently moved the deadlines a bit. Alan Wake 2to avoid PS5 exclusivity Spiderman Marvel 2 from Insomniac Games and Sony. Now THQ Nordic is joining them. She decided to postpone Alone in the dark from 25.10 until next year. The game is now scheduled for January 16, 2024.
Developers will spend extra time on improving the gameplay. At the same time, THQ Nordic admits in a press release that they don’t want to release Alone in the Dark when Alan Wake 2 (October 27) and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 (October 27) come out. The PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S platforms still apply.
Alone in the Dark is a reboot of the original 1992 Survival Horror. The action takes place in the 90s of the last century and will undergo certain changes compared to the original story. The main characters will include David Harbor (Stranger Things) and Jodie Comer (killing Eve).
