Survarium shuts down and gives credit to players, but not to Russian players

Free-to-play online shooter Survarium It’s about to shut down after ten years of operation, and the developers have launched what would be their endgame initiative before the definitive shutdown of the servers, which will take place at the end of May. Among them present rather than credit free to players, but not to Russian players.

The reason is simple enough to explain: The development studio, Vostok Games, is Ukrainian. Of course you know that Russia is at war with Ukraine. Regardless, anyone who logs into the game these weeks will earn 50,000 Gold and 500,000 Silver so they can buy whatever they want.

It should be noted that, despite very long activity, Survarium never version 1.0. The latest update, blog 0.69, dates back to early December 2021. Maybe we need to review the timing of Early Access launches for a moment?

As it should be now Technical support because the game has stopped permanently. The latest update will arrive in mid-May in the form of an event that will permanently turn off this experience and lead to servers being shut down and removed from the Steam list. Of course, all in-game purchases made will disappear like tears in the rain.

Meanwhile, Vostok Games is working on a new yet unannounced project.
