10 days ago, the creators of the expected post-apocalyptic action STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl confirmed that they will be at Gamescom, where trade show attendees will be able to play the game at the Xbox booth. Earlier this year, Stalker 2 was promised, but the war in Ukraine forced the creators to move from Kyiv to Prague, which definitely did not add development. Therefore, there were speculations about a possible postponement to the next year. But this may not be the case.

Until now, we could see the date 12/31/2023 in various online stores, which is only a temporary date to bring the game to systems this year. However, the online store of the company Plaion (formerly Koch Media), which is responsible for the publication of the game, reappeared on 01/12/2023, Friday, which adds credibility. Release dates have been leaked before, for example for the Switch version of Darksiders 2. So let’s see if this is confirmed for Stalker 2 as well.

Let me remind you that Stalker 2 will first be released on PC and Xbox Series X/S. She will have Czech subtitles and will also be available with a Game Pass subscription. The PlayStation 5 version will come later.
