QuakeCon kicked off this year, and thanks to it, we have what many fans of id Software’s creations have been hoping for for a long time. Of course, the guess was confirmed. Bethesda continues the success of the updated first part of the Quake series.which we saw two years ago, and practically the same improvements now apply to the second partwhich was originally released on PC in 1997.
Earthquake 2 therefore, again claims the place and is re-equipped not only with the content of the original game and the original expansions of The Reckoning and Ground Zero, but also improved graphics and a new extension. As the name suggests, Swedish studio MachineGames is responsible for the Call of the Machine expansion., which is currently handling the Wolfenstein series and has already created two additional episodes that officially expanded on the first Quake in 2021. In addition to id Software, Bethesda and MachineGames, unsurprisingly, under the new version of the cult shooter we also find the signed studio Nightdive, which adorned the first part.
