The fates of some games are very interesting. For example, Baldur’s Gate 3 is a sequel that has been awaited for many years. However, according to Tim Kaine of Troika Games, this game could have looked completely different than what we know today. In fact, 20 years ago, the studio made an offer to Wizards of the Coast based on what they wanted BG3 to do.

Like the new creation of the Larians, this part was supposed to differ from the original format. But in this case, the difference would be even more noticeable, because, according to Cain, it should be a title close to their game Vampire: the Masquerade – Bloodlines in terms of gameplay and handling. It will be a completely tangible PvPvE multiplayer adventure. Kane himself is not sure the studio ever got a response to his proposal. However, it is certain that their project was a significant adaptation of D&D.
