Today at noon, we informed you about the leak of materials that Microsoft had cancel Xbox Live Gold service and replace it with the new Game Pass option. Later that day, Redmond officially confirmed the change.
It replaces the existing Xbox Live Gold service. a subscription called Xbox Game Pass Core. The price of the new Game Pass was set at $10 per month. An annual membership for $60 will also be available. Subscribers get access to multiplayer and discounts in the Xbox Store.
It represents the most significant change from the existing Xbox Live Gold. library containing more than 25 titles. You can view the full list of confirmed games below. Microsoft representatives have confirmed that the library will be partially changed two to three times a year. An Xbox Game Pass Core subscription will be available starting September 14th. Existing Xbox Live Gold subscribers will have access to it at no additional cost.
