July ID@Xbox showed some interesting games from independent developers, which will be released, including on Microsoft consoles. We could watch Everspace 2, Scarlet Deer Inn, Stumble Guys, or the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, among others.
Let’s start the review with a space role-playing shooter. Everspace 2, which was released in its full version for PC in April of this year. Even then, the developers were luring that the game would be available for next-generation consoles at the end of the summer. In the end, they chose August 15 when Everspace 2 will be available for Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5. It will be sold for 50 euros with a 20% discount for PS Plus subscribers. If you are of course Xbox Game Pass subscribers, so you won’t spend a dime on Everspace 2, because the game will be available on the service on the same day. Physical versions with steelbook, artbook (64 pages) and digital soundtrack will be released on October 3rd.
We are moving towards the unconventional emotional embroidered adventure game Scarlet Deer hotel from the Znojmo studio Attu Games, which created the Feudal Alloy platformer. Their new project was revealed in a nearly two-minute pre-alpha gameplay trailer. It has been confirmed for release on Xbox Series X/S, though we still don’t know a release date. Versions for PC and Nintendo Switch have been previously announced.
Free battle royale Stumbling Guys, which has performed well on PC, iOS, and Android, is coming to Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One. But the date is missing.
Reminds me of the Texas chainsaw massacre. It will be an asymmetrical multiplayer action game where one player will become a member of the infamous Slaughter family and the rest will face their terror.

psychological horror Lost souls will feature new music from Akira Yamaoka, composer of the Silent Hill series. We can listen in the trailer Song Shattered Minds. The game is released not only for Xbox consoles, but also for PlayStation and PC (Steam). It should be out this fall.
Roguelike Adventure Miffors Coming out of Early Access on September 12 this year. It will be released on the same day not only for PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), but also for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Switch.
Early Access launched on 04/20/2022 on Epic. The full version will include three episodes (up from one at launch in Early Access), unlockable difficulty modes, and an updated meta progression system for online co-op play. It supports 4 players.
Hellboy: Wyrd’s Web is a roguelite adventure game featured in a brand new gameplay trailer. The title beckons with an original story created in collaboration with Dark Horse Comics and creator Nick Nignola. The game is in development for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 5, PS4 and Switch.
Versus Evil and C2 Game Studio used the presentation to announce the title of the RPG. Monolith: Requiem of the Ancientscoming to Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PS4, PC (Steam) and Switch in early 2024.
Monolith: Requiem of the Ancients takes you on a journey through Gliza, a mystical world threatened by dark forces.
Classic fighting game Karateka comes to PC and consoles as an interactive documentary Creation of Karateka. In it, Prince of Persia creator Jordan Mechner tells the story of how a teenager with an Apple II created one of the most innovative and influential games of all time. Game prototypes and a lot of interesting information will be included.
The Making of Karateka will be the first such documentary in the Golden Master series. It’s due out this year on PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PS4, and Switch.
