Iron News #2 – New RTX 4060 mice and benchmarks

The past week has been a bit poorer in hardware news. Again, there is speculation about a new Switch or PS5 Slim, but other than that, we weren’t expecting a new graphics or processor release. At least, Razer corrected a little, which came out with a new series of gaming mice. They are called Cobra and Cobra Pro, and among the advantages are low weight or wireless charging. The catch, however, is the price, which, as always, is quite high for a Razer.

We’ll stick with mice. One detailed review was written by colleague Karel Dvorak about the HyperX Pulsefire Haste 2 Wireless. A long name, and only 61 grams without perforation and without wires under two thousand, this is already worth remembering. And what was the rating? You will find out in the review.

After all, there were more reviews. This time it’s the turn of two RTX 4060s from Asus and Gigabyte. The first of these will cost you about a thousand less than the second. Which, given the price of about nine thousand crowns, where these cards move to is a noticeable difference.

There is also a reflection by Michal Rybka, this time about corporations killing our favorite services. Who wouldn’t be sad about the situation around Reddit and Twitter these days. But the problem is much more complex.

Finally, here we have another curiosity. Asus showed graphics with two M.2 drive slots. However, the clever concept of using unused PCIe lanes is unlikely to catch on. After all, you can’t even buy these graphics yet. But for owners of boards with a small number of M.2 slots, this can be an interesting solution. In addition, the radiator cools the graphics perfectly, so why not.
