Japanese television TBS enters the gaming market

Japanese company Tokyo Broadcasting System (TBS) announced its entry into the gaming industry with its new subsidiary tbs games. The operator of one of Japan’s most widespread television networks, including news, sports and series, has made no secret of its plan to bring “the most impressive gaming experience” to the market.

TBS wants to focus on its own game development based on its own IP addresses. He points out that some of his brands have already seen video game adaptations, namely Sasuke Ninja Warrior. From now on, he wants to control production. It will target a variety of platforms, from PC and consoles to mobile and gaming.

The new gaming division of TBS is set to become the “ultimate weapon” in the gaming market. “We are committed to making our original IP addresses publicly known through games that enrich the lives of gamers around the world,” the company writes.
