New rating in Korea gives hope for Red Dead remaster

Red Dead Redemption 2 praised for the incredible detail, beautifully crafted western world and story. It’s surprising that Rockstar didn’t release an enhanced version for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S when they released it for Grand Theft Auto 5. The famous studio didn’t even break the 50 million sales mark for Red Dead Redemption 2. However, something- it might be on the way.

Fans have been dreaming for a long time Remaster/remake of Red Dead Redemptionso they can reproduce the original story in more detail on modern platforms. Perhaps their wish will come true. The appearance of a new version indicates new rating in South Korea. This is a re-evaluation of Red Dead Redemption, although recordings for the original PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions are still available, as well as for the Undead Nightmare Collection (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360) and GOTY Edition (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360).

The new assessment is registered under the number CC-NV-230615-001. In Korea, NV refers to consoles and NP refers to PC games. Although the console rating does not rule out the existence of a PC version and vice versa, a release on all major platforms is possible, which will certainly please gamers.

The arrival of a remaster (I personally do not expect a remake from Rockstar) is fixed by speculation that is several years old. They mentioned that Rockstar is preparing a remaster for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Although last year it was stated that Rockstar urged everyone to get involved in the development of GTA 6 and other projects faded into the background. It was also supposed to cancel the remaster of GTA 4. If there is a new version, let’s hope that the developers will take care and we will not get another ruined game. The GTA trilogy was enough…
