Ubisoft isn’t giving up on its quest to create a game client that can stand up to Steam and GOG, and is offering an improved version. New Ubisoft Connect for PC is a response to the feedback the Assassin’s Creed publisher has received over the years.
The mass update is in beta testing and is expected to be available to more users this summer. The company has prepared a new interface focused on accessibility and visibility. The goal was to create a client where players can immediately find what they are looking for. Be it games or players.
The improvement also includes a library with more detailed game descriptions, the ability to quickly see which games need updating, and an overview of the progress of the game. New social features include redesigned player profiles with more customization space, interaction between players, and the ability to see what others are playing. Speaking of the library, the Ubisoft+ subscription is integrated into it.
You can see some changes/improvements in the video. We remind you that according to information on the official website of the PC version of the games Avatar: Pandora’s Limits And Star Wars Outlaws will only be sold on Ubisoft Connect until Assassin’s Creed Mirage And Crew Motorfest they should still be in the Epic Games Store. All new games will probably appear on Steam later. Gradually returning to the Valve platform, Ubisoft started last December with Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Anno 1800. Later, The Division 2, Watch Dogs: Legion, Trackmania, Riders Republik or Far Cry 6 were added to them.
