From the federal court case FTC vs. We have received confirmation from Microsoft that Indiana Jones from MachineGames will be exclusive to Xbox and PC. This was confirmed by Pete Hines, head of the publishing company Bethesda Softworks. Initially, the expected novelty from the creators of Wolfenstein was supposed to be on several consoles, but Bethesda was bought by Microsoft and the contract with Disney and Lucasfilm was revised.
Information about exclusivity for the Microsoft ecosystem was previously announced by Nick Baker on the XboxEra podcast. Interestingly, a new episode of the podcast came out over the weekend. In it, Baker talked about how Indiana Jones would play.
For the adventures of the famous treasure hunter, a third-person view is suitable, which he also has unknown from Naughty Dog and Sony or tomb Raider with Lara Croft from Crystal Dynamics. Thanks to the Wolfenstein series, Swedish MachineGames has gained first-person experience.

According to Baker, developers will use their experience and Indiana Jones will have a combination of first and third person cameras.. Some parts must be played in first person and some in third person. At least that’s what they plan to do for now. Still the game goes on at an early stage of development and still can change. However, now it seems that we will not be able to switch between perspectives at will, but everything will depend on the authors. In action playthroughs, a first-hand view is offered, while overcoming obstacles, solving puzzles and escaping, on the other hand, a third-person view is useful.
Beyond Indy, MachineGames has more to come new wolfenstein. But all this is just speculation, or assumptions based on information provided from various advertisements.
