The ongoing U.S. federal court hearing over Microsoft’s purchase of Activision Blizzard reveals various details about the relationship between the two companies and the games currently being developed. On the first day of the hearing, for example, Bethesda CEO Pete Hines spoke, who, answering one of the questions, confirmed that the upcoming game based on the Indiana Jones universe from the MachineGames studio will be a console exclusive for Xbox and it will also be released on Game Pass on release day.

Representatives of the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) are trying to point out that the situation with games such as Indiana Jones, Starfield or Redfall, which were planned as multi-platform before the purchase of Bethesda by Microsoft, may be repeated in the case of games from Activision Blizzard. The US Federal Trade Commission is using these and other arguments in court to try to block all $68.7 billion worth of trade.
