Both games were announced earlier, so the authors from the studios 3D Clouds and Cradle Games did not waste any time and immediately started playing. Thanks to this I was able to see how the new Puppy Hero Adventures compare to the previous installments (Paw Patrol: On the Road!, Paw Patrol Movie: Calls to Adventure City and PAW Patrol: MIighty Pups: Save Adventure Bay) The action takes place in the open world of the Paw Patrol., which the player can explore with any character from the set. And walking beautifully on all fours, just like in their iconic cars.
The developers claim that they created the world as bright and appropriate as possible for the series. There are famous places such as the bay, the highlands, the jungle, and the town of Barkingburg. The world is filled with collectibles, special quests, platforming, and other activities that encourage exploration. Along the way, we will also collect treats. The motivation is to unlock cosmetic items with which we can decorate puppies and their vehicles. These include, for example, headgear (caps, royal crowns, cowboy hats), collars and various stickers for prams. Don’t expect anything overly complicated, but kids will love it for sure.
They will also enjoy editing photos with different scenes. You can put anything in the photo, for example, glasses on Ryder’s nose (if you didn’t know, he is responsible for the paws), a rainbow in the background, etc.
But we are not in vain in the world of Paw Patrol. 8 main characters from Ryder’s team, each with unique abilities to complete missions, puzzles, and challenges, must save Paw Patrol Day. It’s being prepared by Mayor Goodway at Adventure Bay, but Mayor Humdinger has other plans. He secretly planned his own kitty festival in Foggy Bottom. With Cat Crash, he gets all of the PAW Patrol Day posters and uses a new super airship to promote his own festival. Team will cause chaos. Let’s move on to the more action-packed Jumanji: Wild Adventures. recommended from 7 years old. It is four times larger than the previous Jumanji from Outright Games. it features the return of Dr. Smolder Bravestone, Ruby Roundhouse, Franklin “Mouse” Finbar, and Professor Shelley Oberon.. Everyone is ready to go in search of treasures beyond their wildest fantasies.
Together with the heroes, we will plunge into the vast world of Jumanji, full of dangerous animals and treasures.. We will look for the eye of the Jaguar and the way home. In doing so, you’ll need to solve diabolical puzzles, explore lost areas, and fight bosses like the Mad Shaman. During the presentation, the developers warned that we must be prepared for danger, because the drums of Jumanji can strike at any moment.
If one player goes on an adventure in Jumanji, they can often choose which hero to play as in each challenge. Everything can be experienced alone, but the creators recommend inviting other explorers and enjoying the adventure in collaboration with up to four locals. Here they think that the aggressiveness of the enemies (and possibly their number) will vary depending on the number of players.
During the presentation, I saw a fight with a giant octopus, which was arranged by Dr. Smolder, moving around the ship and jumping on tentacles. We then moved on to the jungle, where Smolder was beating big bugs with his fists. After dealing with them, he had to find two keys to open the gate. To do this, it was necessary to jump over several islands. There was nothing difficult about it. Then we moved to a dungeon with traps, like in The Mummy. She brought rest from action and avoided all sorts of traps. an arcade game in a jeep that the player controls from a bird’s eye view and searches for treasures.
The Ruby part was much faster, with the developer smashing crates of gold, dodging, and shooting at enemies. In one passage, he quickly jumps through a trap to get to the top of the temple, where he had to deal with several waves of enemies. Professor Shelley Oberon had to deal with nasty spiders. The final part in multiplayer then she acted more like a Super Smash Bros. ripper..
In any case, both games did not make a bad impression. We, older and experienced players, often do not understand them and demand from them a quality that children do not even know about. My 5 year old son and his sister of the same age (thankfully they both didn’t play it in kindergarten) watched the recording of my game and they were both excited and looking forward to playing both games with them. Only it’s a pity that there is no czech localization. Just to add, Jumanji: Wild Adventures is scheduled for November 3 this year for PC, the latest two generations of PlayStation and Xbox consoles, and Nintendo Switch.
What is certain is that there will be no microtransactions in Jumanji: Wild Adventures and PAW Patrol World. DLC is currently not planned either.
