We reported on the intentions of the FTC yesterday. Officials fear Microsoft could buy Activision Blizzard without approval. It is said that such reports have appeared.

Acquisition for $68.7 billion thus, will be heard before a federal judge. The trial is due to begin on August 2 this year. However, the FTC must submit its explanation to the court on June 23 and 24.

Experts believe that a federal court is a more appropriate place for Microsoft to settle the case and buy the Call of Duty publisher.

This also explains why Microsoft claims that a temporary ban will speed up the entire trial process. The same opinion was expressed by the head of Activision Blizzard Bobby Kotick.

Up to 40 markets have approved Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard. Problems only in the UK and the US. In the UK, everything will be decided in court from 24.07.
