It’s been two years since an interesting survival game was introduced. Serum. At the presentation of the Guerrilla Collective 2023, the game was remembered in a gameplay trailer, and the developers from the Game Island studio announced its arrival on Steam Early Access. Only the date is missing.
In Serum you will find an eternal race against time. An unknown liquid takes control of your life. To stay alive, you must collect the serum, fight dangerous creatures, solve puzzles and find clues. You can find the exit on your own or in co-op mode for 4 players.
“Imagine waking up in a world controlled by a mysterious poisonous substance, with a strange device attached to your arm. Will you muster up the courage to explore and survive, or just wait until you die? One thing is clear: serum is needed to prolong life. It’s up to you how you find it.” — according to the creators in a press release.
It will be important to find shelter, look for new technologies, make equipment and modify weapons in order to have a chance to get to places where you can find a rare substance. just be careful serum can change your body in unexpected ways.
Serum should remain in early access for approximately 12 months.
