At the end of January, a full-fledged remake of the first part of the Dead Space series was released. The developers from the Motive studio did a very good job, after which received rave reviews and the reaction of the players, as evidenced, for example, by an 89% rating on Metacritic.
Unfortunately, at the time of release, the game did not receive an official Czech localization. This is why the fan-translator community has once again had to take the reins into their own hands. Although it has been talked about for a long time, the well-known translation team Lokalizace.net, which brought, for example, the translation of Red Dead Redemption 2, recently via Facebook work on Czech localization announced for the Dead Space remake.
However, as you can see from the graph on the official translation site, the Czech version has been in development for some time now. Currently, approximately 60% of texts need to be translated. Worth noting, isn’t it? a Slovak translation is created at the same time, a test version of which from the Lokalizace.sk team can even now be downloaded from Prekladyher.eu. For both translations, the localization will only be compatible with the PC version.
