The twisted game about Winnie the Pooh will definitely not be a fairy tale for children

Over a year ago, a chubby teddy bear who befriends Krishtufek Robin and continues to lose his battle with honey addiction has partially expired. This means that now Winnie the Pooh can … a lot. It was probably only a matter of time before some twisted mind took over the fairy tale character and created, I don’t know, maybe a game in which a teddy bear turns into a mutated beast.

Developers from indie studio Twice Different, creators of the well-received game Ring of Pain, took the opportunity this week to showcase their new project in a video. It’s called Winnie’s Hole, and it’s about something you can’t (hopefully) think of in connection with Winnie the Pooh.

We will play as an invasive virus inside the body of a poor bear, which gradually spreads through its tissues and mutates. In this way, Pooh grows new limbs, tentacles or jagged holes on all possible parts of the body. “Adapt to survive and turn it into a monster,” the creators urge on Twitter. In the trailer, a mutated Pooh spreads a virus among his friends.

The game is likely to be a mixture of different genres – it borrows elements of rogue-lite, and inside Pooh’s body we will stack cubes similar to Tetris. The title will be released in a PC version on Steam sometime this year.

And what will happen next? Winnie the Pooh has become public, so you can create a shooting game where animals take bazookas in their paws. However, Meda is not yet allowed to wear his typical red t-shirt, and some other versions are still copyrighted.
