Now, thanks to an interview with the creative director of the game, Brian Intihara, which was published by Famitsu magazine, we are getting some interesting information about the game world. Intijar said players can look forward to two brand new districts, which were not in the previous part from 2018. In particular, we will talk about Queens and Brooklyn, which should offer a different charm compared to Manhattan.
The interview also mentioned the use of the East River, which separates the two new neighborhoods from Manhattan. Especially thanks to the addition of two new districts, according to Intihara. the game world is twice as big than in the previous part. The increased movement speed shown in gameplay footage is also due to the expansion of the game world. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will release later this year exclusively on the PlayStation 5 console.
