No one is better able to survive the apocalypse than Will Smithand this is great news for everyone who is looking forward to the upcoming survival game. Dawn. Developers from Lightspeed Studios released a new trailer announcing the game’s new character, Trey Jones, played by Smith.
The creators seem to have drawn inspiration for this character from Smith’s past roles, especially his role as Robert Neville in the film. I’m a legendwhere Smith plays a lone survivor in a hopeless cityscape, which fits in perfectly with the overall theme of Undawn.
The developers have announced that this role is Smith’s debut in a video game, which is surprisingly true. Despite an illustrious career spanning over three decades, Smith has never appeared in any game other than a few covers and a rough likeness of his character Agent J in Men in Black II: Alien Escape. However, he’s never voiced a character in a game before – though we haven’t heard him speak in this project yet.
But I’m afraid that Will Smith will be the only significant attraction of this free-to-play game, which is scheduled for release on Android, iOS and PC (Steam) on June 15 this year. But we won’t be too early. Check out the gameplay footage below.
