Ten players are divided into two teams. Subsequently, you have to complete six small tasks scattered around the map. The beta contained three maps, often played through different areas or in a different order. So, we tried the city center, the airport, or the ruins associated with the base. Your goal is usually to shoot down a certain number of dinosaurs. From time to time, velociraptors and pteranodons are replaced by stronger triceratops, ankylosaurs, or even carnotaurs. After successfully completing the main tasks, the main and final task awaits you, in which you can start harming the enemy team as well, or go into a direct collision. Also, the final part is random. Or we are talking about the occupation of the territory where even the dinosaurs themselves can harm you, data collection or data protection. The last action mentioned is a typical payload from Overwatch or Team Fortress 2, with the fact that you can also destroy it for another team. At the same time, if you are significantly behind the other team, the game will offer you the opportunity to tame your own stronger dinosaur. You teleport to the enemy and can deal really big damage, which saved my neck more than once.

The game also has a story told through examples. They become available when you play a certain number of matches or collect data. The more and better you play, the more likely you are to get data and memories, which you then combine into a kind of mind map. Because you are trying to escape from the dominance of the powerful artificial intelligence Leviathan, which takes exosuit pilots through time and universes and throws them into the past, or rather in 2040, when the world crisis happened. In fact, she only does all this because she prefers to let you kill each other in order to get the necessary data with which she wants to save the world. In short, a topic that is now dangerously relevant. Let’s see how interesting the story will be in the final game, but at the moment it is in full swing.

But the main thing is the heroes themselves, or exosuits. In the base game, there will be ten of them in three classes − Assault, tank and support. We were able to try seven of them. And to be honest, everyone offered something unique and at the same time added skills to the team. For example, one of the supports could heal with the same shots as it dealt damage. He could levitate at the same time, but was slower and had difficulty healing multiple heroes at the same time. In addition to attacks, the second Support only had an electric stick, which he used to slow rather than attack, but he could still heal in an area. Thus, each hero is suitable for a certain moment. One tank pulls enemies in and destroys them with powerful melee attacks, while the other has a powerful machine gun and rocket launcher. To be honest, I didn’t find a favorite. Most of all I liked to change the costumes themselves during the game according to the situation. Which is not only possible, but at the same time, you will not lose the percentage of the charge of the ultimate ability, as in other games.
