An improved version of the original second System shock. The developers from Nightdive Studios presented the first trailer shortly before the release of a full-fledged remake of the first System Shock. The Enhanced Edition is a community collaboration.
System Shock fans have had to be patient over the past few years, but it’s slowly approaching. It will be released on PC (later on consoles) on 30.05 this year. long-awaited remake of the first System Shock. Studio Nightdive recalls on this occasion System Shock 2: Advanced Edition.
An extended version of the second System Shock was announced back in 2019, but it’s only now been confirmed that it’s coming to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. We can also watch the first trailer. It features improved textures, cutscenes and weapon models.
The developers are working with the community to include previously created mods and updates. A redesigned co-op multiplayer will also be included. Only the date is missing.
