Alan Wake 2 is one of the most anticipated games of the year for many gamers, although we still know very little about it. Pretty much everything we’ve been getting lately has been constant confirmation that the game is indeed coming out this year. The last time we heard from the developers at Remedy, the game is already in the final stages of development, so everything is going according to plan. We still don’t know exactly when we’ll see it officially, but at least the release month could have been accidentally revealed ahead of time.

Actor and voice actor Matthew Porretta was a guest on the relatively small Monsters, Madness and Magic podcast. But fans of Alan Wake quickly noticed some very interesting information in the interview. When the protagonist’s voice-over mentions the upcoming second part, he specifically mentions that it will be released in October. However, this could be a mistake or misinformation, it’s possible that Porretta just thought the date was already public and erroneously mentioned the month. In any case, this will mean that we hope to see the game very soon. It can be assumed that this will happen on May 24 at the PlayStation Showcase, or at the Summer Game Fest on June 8.

The sequel to Alan Wake is coming to PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
