Hollow Knight: Silksong will be delayed

It’s been four years since Hollow Knight: Silksong was first revealed to the world in more detail. E3 was still with us and the gaming world was very different. However, we still don’t have the game on discs or an exact release date. And, at least according to the latest information, there seems to be another delay. Marketing Care Matthew Griffin commented on the situation as follows:We planned to release in the 1st half of 2023, but development is still ongoing. We are thrilled with how the game is progressing and it has grown a lot, so we want to take the time to make it the best it can be.“

So it’s obvious that their project, which was originally supposed to be primarily an addition to the main game, has evolved into a large independent game. Griffin said more details are to be expected.”as we get closer to release.“How far we are now from this is a question, but perhaps this will happen already this year. Hollow Knight: Silksong is out on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. The game will also be available on release day as part of Game Pass.
