For a long time, Activision Blizzard has been making more money with consoles. But now, according to the company’s new financial report, it looks like they have moved to third place in this regard, while PCs have moved up to second place. The console was overtaken by exactly $27 million. This is not uncommon in the growth of computers, this trend seems to have continued into one Friday and it was only a matter of time before they surge ahead. It is assumed that the main driver of PC growth is Blizzard itself, whose games bring in half the profits compared to Call of Duty, but more than 72% of the revenue comes from PC.

Last year, the difference between PC and consoles was just under $100 million, which at first glance is a lot, but inside the industry it was a minimal difference compared to previous years, when the gap was much larger. Therefore, it is possible that this year computers can take second place in Activision Blizzard’s statistics. However, the question is how to shake out the statistics of the release of Diablo IV, which is aimed at both PC and consoles. If you’re wondering which platform comes first, it’s the mobile platform where the money flows.
