Capcom Announces Next Weekend Will Happen Street Fighter 6 Public Beta. The quiz will be available on all platforms from May 19 to May 21.
Beta will let you choose 8 fighters (Jury, Luke, Chun-Li, Jamie, Ryu, Ken, Kimberly and Guile) and try out different online modes, including Extreme Fight, Ranked Match and Casual Match. You can compete in the arenas of Metro City Downtown, Genbu Temple, Carrier Byron Taylor, Tian Hong Yuan, Macho Ring and Training Room. It will also please enable crossplay supportso that players from different platforms can connect and enjoy online battles.
So this is the same content that was available in closed beta last December. Those who took part in this test can see for themselves how the developers have balanced individual characters.
In anticipation of the start of open beta testing, you can play demo, which lets you train with Ryu and Luke, try out the single player campaign, and try out the avatar toolkit. You can then use this in the full version, which will be released on 6/2 of this year in versions for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and PC.
