After a detailed analysis of the PlayStation versions, it’s time to see how Hogwarts legacy works on competing consoles from Microsoft. ElAnalystaDeBits channel on YouTube compared performance and graphics on Xbox One, Xbox One X, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X.
On the previous generation of consoles from Microsoft, you have to rely only on resolution 720p at 30fpsand on the more powerful Xbox One X, the resolution increased to 1440 rbut the frame rate stayed at 30. The PS4 is 900p and the PS4 Pro is 1080p.
Xbox One and Xbox One X show lower image quality, textures are less detailed and there are fewer elements in the scene. If you select performance mode with unlocked fps, you won’t get to 60, but at many points the game runs at 40 frames per secondwhich will be greeted by VRR fans.

On Xbox Series X, you can enjoy the magical adventure in 1800p at 30fps or ray-traced in 1440p at 30fps. You can also choose a performance mode with a resolution of 1440p at 60 FPS. On the Series S, the quality mode is 1188p@30fps and the performance mode is 900p@60fps.
You will suffer while loading, which requires the Hogwarts Legacy upon entering the castle. You’ll wait 45 seconds on Xbox One and almost 53 seconds on Xbox One X. On Xbox Series X, it’s just over 8 seconds, and on Series S, it’s just under 8 seconds.
As in the case of the PlayStation, so is the case with the Xbox the developers did a good job and did not stint on optimization. So older console owners don’t have to worry about playing Hogwarts Legacy.
