Developer Respawn Entertainment is currently working on fixing and improving the technically unsatisfactory state of action-adventure Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, which it mainly worries computer gamers.
The efforts of the authors, it seems, are already bearing the first fruits. After the last update #3.5 there has been a noticeable shift in terms of optimization, which is especially noticeable at a more stable and higher frame rate. The changes are well illustrated by the video attached below from the ElAnalistaDeBits channel.
While frame drops are significantly less common on consoles, the PC version saw a significant increase in FPS, at least on the test set. The difference between the version before and after the mentioned update in some places up to 30 FPS.
Of course, this does not mean that the game currently works without problems. For example, players keep complaining about problematic shader compilation and stuttering. Even after this first positive sign, the authors undoubtedly still have work to do. You can learn more about Star Wars Jedi: Survivor from our review.
