French indie developer Alexander Spindler posted a two-minute gameplay trailer for his upcoming game Unrecord yesterday. In just 24 hours the video got 350,000 views and attracted significant attention from both the media and gamers, which is a respectable achievement for a hitherto unknown indie project.
Video is primarily responsible for such high numbers graphic processing of the game itselfwhich is almost indistinguishable from reality. The gameplay footage looks so believable that some players accuse the creator of not actually playing the game, but actual footage captured by the camera.
In addition to the almost photorealistic setting and lighting, this also contributes to the overall experience. unique camera, which the creator calls bodycam. Unrecord runs on Unreal Engine 5 and is coming to PC. You can add the game to your Steam Wishlist right now. But the author adds that he would like to transfer the game to consoles.
However, he indicates that the game is not intended for VR. Basically, it should be about police tacticsin which detective and tactical skills are useful. We don’t know a release date yet.
