Sony has significantly raised the prices of its games in seven countries to Steam. Players from Argentina, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Japan and South Korea will have to dig in their pockets, for example, when buying a PC version of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Days Gone, God of War or Returnal.

Some gamers write that it’s a shame because it’s hard to buy games in low-income countries. They fear other companies won’t follow Sony.. Sony itself has not announced a price increase and has yet to comment.
