Diablo 4 is complete and will be playable on consoles

Unless something unexpected happens, it will be released on 6/6 of this year. Diablo 4. Blizzard boasted on social media that the long-awaited role-playing game has entered its golden phase. As for the development, it is finished and the creators have less than two months to set up, fix bugs and optimize. Everything will be included in the so-called day one patch and will mostly come from the recent public beta.

We will hear more news about the game on April 20th. In the meantime, Blizzard has confirmed that the game will run smoothly on consoles. In particular, he promises permission 4K at 60fps on Xbox Series X. Xbox Series S should be 1080p at 60fps.

That’s important information considering Arkane and Bethesda’s co-op shooter Redfall won’t be 60fps at release. Whether we can expect additional graphics modes for different resolutions and performance settings in Diablo 4 remains to be seen.

It is very likely that Diablo 4 will be able to support 4K and 60 FPS on the PlayStation 5 as well. But we still need to wait for confirmation.

So expect Diablo 4 on 06/06/2023 for PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4. Game Pass won’t include the game because Microsoft hasn’t completed its acquisition of Activision Blizzard yet.
