Silica is a newly announced RTS/FPS hybrid that puts you in an insane clash for the planet Baltarus. Three factions are now fighting on it, trying to capture as much of the world as possible. Two human groups are fighting for their place under the sun, as well as one alien who just wants his rest. At first glance, the game is similar to Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak, but offers, in addition to the strategic one, in which you also build another more action-oriented layer. You have the ability to take control of anyone, which can turn your average shooter into a killing machine. In the presented footage, we have the opportunity to see soldiers in action, as well as heavy equipment rolling through the desert.
Silica doesn’t have an exact release date yet. However, the game should appear on PC as early as the second quarter of 2023, so the Early Access release is definitely not as far away as it might seem at first glance.
