In addition to Czech translators, there are also active in the field of fan-made localization our neighbors from Slovakia. In some cases, it may happen that instead of the Czech localization, the game will be translated into the Slovak language close to us. Added to this group of games is Ghostwire: Tokyo, which has just received Slovak localization.
The authors behind the translation are Andrei Eperjesy and Michal “BoBo” Bobusz, who also published the localization on Prekladyher.eu. The authors note in a short article that they currently have no translated contentwhich Ghostwire: Tokyo received a few days ago as part of an update called Spider’s Thread.
“Localization is only for the English version of the game 8.23. Higher versions are also supported, but in this case the installer will roll back the game back to 8.23 and after installing the localization you will have to start playing again! Your saved games from version 8.23 will work with the next translation version, which will bring support for newer versions of the game.
The Slovak language should be active in the game immediately after installing the localization. Don’t forget to turn on subtitles in the menu! Since the translation is for version 8.23 of the game, the Spider’s Thread extension is not available after the translation is installed. We are currently working on supporting it and it will be part of the next version of the translation.” provided by the authors of the translation.
