On Friday, Remedy Entertainment announced that it is changing its logo after over 20 years. A few years ago, the studio went through a significant restructuring – before it always worked on only one game, today Remedy is a company that works on several projects at once. At the same time, there was an expansion from Finland to Sweden, namely to the capital Stockholm, where Remedy opened a branch. However, despite all this news, the company has kept its old logo, and now decided to change it.
“The R in the old logo symbolized the Max Payne era, but Remedy is now so much more than just a game, we have a whole portfolio of games, new and old,” written in a press release. You can take a look at the new logo below and compare it to the previous ones.
At the end of the press release, it was also again confirmed that Alan Wake 2 will be released this year, although we still haven’t seen any footage from the game.
