After much speculation, Ubisoft has officially announced and immediately moved the Ubisoft+ subscription to the Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S consoles. A variant primarily intended for consoles from Microsoft is called Multi-access Ubisoft+. However, representatives of the French publisher have confirmed that with this subscription version, users will be able to play selected games from the library on both Xbox and PC.
On the other hand, the Ubisoft+ Multi Access library does not contain games exclusively available on PC. Basically it’s strategy and various old titles that have never been released on the Xbox. For this reason, ironically, the new subscription version contains significantly fewer games compared to the existing Ubisoft+ for PC. While Ubisoft+ in the PC-only version contains over 130, Ubisoft+ Multi Access only offers just over 60 gamesa list of which can be found on the official website.
Despite this shortcoming, Ubisoft+ Multi Access costs 18 EUR/439 CZK per month, which is three euros more than the current PC version. It’s perhaps a little surprising that Ubisoft+ Multi Access won’t even be part of an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription. In addition to the PC version and the recently released new Xbox and PC variant, the service has also been available on PlayStation for a while. In this case, it is available separately for 15 euros or as a variant called Classic as part of a PlayStation Plus Extra/Premium subscription.
